Hi I'm Yukon (a.k.a - Rat Dog) and this is my home page. The thing I love most in the world is being close to my mom. Next in line is sledding. I also get pretty excited about agility. Mom keeps me pretty busy!

I also love playing with Kodiak, Tacha, and Oz. We all have a pretty good time playing in our yard especially when there are snow piles to jump in.

Here are a few of my Favorite things:

Dog Sledding: I do this all winter long and this is by far my favorite activity.  I get to bark and bark and bark and run all day long its great.  I run in two positions on the team lead and wheel.
Agility: This is the activity I do with my Mom we practice every week and go to trials with all my other agility buddies here in Fort McMurray.  I have completed two titles (NAC and NGC) and have several legs towards many different titles but that elusive 3rd leg is hard to get.
Digging: I love to dig the deeper and muddier the better, this is the first thing I learned how to do wait til you see the pictures.
Eating:  This is one of my all time favorites you can't beat a big bowl of Eagle Pack.
Singing: This is one of the things I am best at. Mom says I am a singing fool, but the truth is that I just have Mom and Dad wrapped around my paws. The more I sing, the more stuff I get. I'm too cute to resist. So, who is the fool here?

Here are a few of my Accomplishments (Had to go to school to get these)

P.H.D. This means Pretty Hot Dog.  I had to go to school to get this title.  In this class my teacher Susan, taught us how to heel, do recalls, sit and stay (this was a tough one).  We also got to do some agility in this class and I really like to run through the tunnel.
Agility Level 1  This class was really fun! I got to run through the tunnel and over the wall. I also got to go over the dogwalk and over jumps and then up on a table. The weave poles were kind of tough and slowed me down a bit, but basically, I got a certificate for doing what I do best....Running and playing!
C.G.C. This means Canine Good Citizen. For this I had to do a test! I had to do all the things I learned at school while someone graded me on it. It was hard cuz I love to play with new people and with any dogs that go by. For the test I had to sit nicely while Mommy talked to people who had pretty girl doggies with them.
C.K.C. Champion This means that I have compiled enough points to become a champion.
Agility Level 2 This class was a bit harder but I'm pretty sure I'm catching on to this agility thing Mom says I'm doing quite well.
Agility Level 3 Well now that I've completed this I am ready to compete in agility trials.
Novice Agility Certificate (NAC) This is my first agility title!!! This is for regular agility with NADAC. Mom was pretty excited when we did this together. Now she says we have to finish up a few more.
Novice Gamblers Certificate (NCC) I got another title! Mom and I finished this title in February, 2004 and Mom says I am a VERY good boy! We'll have to do this some more!
Novice Jumpers Certificate (NJC)
Novice Tunnellers Certificate (TN-N)
Novice Touch 'N Go Certificate (TG-N)
Top Open Dog & Handler Mom and I won this in Lloydminster at an agility trial. This was really exciting because nobody expects the silly sammies to do so well! I just love working with my mom so I had to show everyone else. I was almost nine years old when I did this!
Bloat Survivor A month after I won top open dog, I had a VERY bad evening when my stomach twisted and I had to visit the vet. Two vets and a tech worked on me for three hours and saved my life! Dr. Gilbert said I was very, very lucky that we go there so fast. A HUGE thank you to the Fort McMurray Small Animal Hospital!!!
Open Agility Certificate (OAS-V)  I finished my NADAC open agility title a few days after my tenth birthday. I'm not ready to retire yet!
